EF Canada hosts packing event for aid to Turkey & Syria
On Saturday February 11, Essentials First Canada teamed up with the Muslim Welfare Centre to host a packing event. Together, we assembled 1000 essential hygiene kits for those impacted by the recent earthquake in Turkey and Syria, 500 kits for local Muslim refugee families, and 50 kits for needy families within the Toronto School District.
UW School of Dentistry Conservation Club volunteers make it happen!
On January 21st, Essentials First welcomed 6 second-year students in The Conservation Club from the University of Washington’s School of Dentistry and their families as volunteers.
Become a Hygiene Champion
The Essentials First Hygiene Champions program attempts to identify student leaders who have the ability to create Essentials First clubs in their schools to collect hygiene products on a recurring basis.
Partnership with Communities in Schools Federal Way- Highline
Essentials First partnered with Communities in Schools Federal Way-Highline to serve the hygiene needs of students and families attending the Federal way and Highline School Districts.
Partnering with Evergreen Goodwill of Northern Washington
Essentials First provided 150 street kits and a 150 hygiene kits to Evergreen Goodwill of Northern Washington

Supporting Ukrainian Asylees
Essentials First has provided 50 Ukrainian asylum-seeking families with hygiene supplies and continue efforts to reach more families.
Re-settling Afghan Refugees
Essentials First team has been at the forefront catering to the personal and household hygiene needs of Afghan refugee families being resettled in Washington state.
