Community Kits program changes

Essentials First is facing skyrocketing demand for hygiene essentials, and making changes to how we distribute Hygiene Kits as we adapt.

We are shifting our focus to ensure supplies stay in stock at all Essentials First locations as increasing economic and social pressures compel more neighbors to seek hygiene support than ever before.

As of August 2024 Essentials First can no longer accept or fulfill any organizational requests for supplies. This includes recurring monthly requests.

Moving forward, we kindly request that all partners looking to connect community members with hygiene essentials do so by referring folks directly to any of our four locations. Our wonderful staff look forward to meeting them- no appointments required.

To all the partners who have helped get hygiene essentials into community member hands since we started this work in 2017, thank you for being an essential part of the movement to end hygiene poverty in our communities and beyond.
