Thank you for joining us at Share Your Blessings 2023!

On Monday November 20, 2023 over 200 community members gathered at The Together Center to share a delicious meal in the spirit of thanks and abundance. The pleasant rumble of dozens of conversations filled the room as residents of the Together Center campus itself, local elected officials, staff from the hosting nonprofits and other partners, members of nearby encampments, and neighbors from all over the area broke bread together.

The turkey dinner was co-hosted by Essentials First and Muslim Community Resource Center and catered by Jawhara Cafe with Halal turkeys donated by the International Food Bazaar. Attendees were invited to eat their fill and take to-go meals home for household members and neighbors who were not able to attend. At the end of the day, we served about 250 plates during the event and delivered 50+ more meals to shelters in the area after.

Huge thanks to our amazing staff and volunteers from Essentials First, MCRC, the Together Center for making this wonderful day a reality and working so hard to set up, serve, distribute blankets and hygiene resources, clean up, and help everyone in the room feel welcome.
